100 Years of Hockey Celebrated
100 YEARS OF HOCKEY CELEBRATED

Former Hamilton hockey star, Olympian, and NHL goalie Guy Hebert ’89 was awarded an honorary degree on Saturday, and the 1998 Hamilton Men’s Hockey team was recognized on the 20th anniversary of its ECAC Championship.
Alumni hockey games took place on Saturday, and the library featured a “100 Years of Hamilton Hockey” display, with a discussion led by hockey historian Fred Addiss and Don Spencer ’59.
The keynote program on Saturday included remarks by hockey legends Stan Fischler, Patrick Kelly, and Hebert. Hebert was awarded an honorary Doctor of Humane letters by President David Wippman and trustee Henry Bedford ’76.
Sunday’s men’s hockey game against Tufts celebrated senior day and Tyler Bruneteau ’18, Evan Buitenhuis ’18, Neil Conway ’18, T.J. Daigler ’18 and Brandon Willett ’18 were recognized. A 2-0 Hamilton NESCAC victory capped off the weekend.
